Elastomeric, waterproofing, white, reflective, self-extinguishing liquid membrane based on modified acrylic copolymers in aqueous dispersion.
Once dry, it will form a strong and elastic film with excellent adhesion to the substrate and highly resistant to weathering agents and resilient to any fissures that may form in the substrate. COPER SOLAR FIBER FR is harmless and non-flammable because it is free from solvents.
In addition, the formulation with special additives, makes the product fire resistant with classification and BROOF(t2) certification according to UNI EN 13501-5.

DESTINATIONS OF USE
COPER SOLAR FIBER FR is recommended to waterproof concrete-structured roofs, terraces with concrete or paved terraces, and to protect them against damage caused by atmospheric agents.
It was specifically designed for use in COOL ROOF systems, reflecting solar radiation and reducing the phenomenon of heat islands.
The product, applied as a top layer on waterproof systems, creates a high reflectivity barrier from UV rays, lowers the surface temperature, thus ensuring good energy savings and prolonging the life of the waterproof coat. It also improves the efficiency and yield of power plants, fitted with photovoltaic panels.
It is the ideal solution for roofs where photovoltaic systems will be installed with a request for classification
BROOF(t2), based on the results of the external fire exposure tests on the roofs.
COPER SOLAR FIBER FR, in fact, also passed the external fire resistance test according to UNI CEN/TS 1187 with classification BROOF(t2) valid on all waterproofing systems made on a combustible or non-combustible support with a density greater than 15 kg/m3, as indicated on the data sheet.
WARNINGS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
Read carefully the technical data sheet and the safety data sheet, available below.
- Stir well before use. The product fears frost.
- Before painting new membranes, wait at least 6 months from their laying, except for membranes with a daring top finish or TEX that can be immediately painted. Do not apply directly to membranes with PE film and gloss film finish but remove the finish by flashing.
- Do not store packages below +5°C and protected from heat sources, in dry places.
- Apply only on surfaces with regular rainwater outflow (minimum 3%).
