FIBERFLEX STRIP is a waterproofing membrane made of distilled bitumen modified with SBS (Styrene-Butadiene-Styrene) polymers that make it very elastic, resistant to thermal ageing and flexible at low temperatures. Almost the 40% of the upper face is coated in relief with THERMO-ADHESIVE STRIPS formed by a special "hot melt" bituminous compound on the basis of elastomers and tackifying resins.
The strips, when activated by light torching, form an homogeneous adhesive substrate for the simple application of insulation panels without the use of oxidised bitumen, mechanical fixations, mastics or any other kind of adhesives. The lower surface is covered by a fast burning plastic film, making the side and head overlaps bonding very easy and fast, by means of normal torching.
